Domaine Roger Perrin

It is at the very heart of the Protected Designation of Origin area of Châteauneuf-du-Pape in Vaucluse that Domaine Roger Perrin is established. A family estate where the winegrower's know-how has been passed down from generation to generation for more than a century.
It was in 1968 that Roger Perrin took over from his father-in-law, Paul Bravay.
By developing the family vineyard, Roger created a new cellar in 1972. It was then that he began to bottle and sell his wines himself under the name of Domaine Roger Perrin.
Like his father, Luc Perrin with his mother Yvette took over the estate in 1986 after the death of Roger. Luc enlarged the estate by creating a new cellar in 1999, where he implemented the latest technologies and techniques in viticulture and wine making.
A passionate winemaker, he greatly contributed to the international development of the Estate.
Enthusiastic oenologist, Véronique Perrin-Rolin, Luc's sister, arrived on the estate for the 2010 harvest, after Luc's sudden death. Véronique had worked for more than 20 years as a consultant oenologist for 80 winegrowers in the Côtes du Rhône Nord (Côtes Rôtie, Hermitage, St Joseph, Cornas, etc.). She brought her expertise in winemaking and tasting to contribute to the best expression of wines.
Véronique’s son, Xavier Rolin, started working on the Estate in 2012. Previously, he studied the world of vines and wine in the best schools in the sector and worked in large regions such as Saint-Émilion, Beaujolais and the Rhône Valley North.
With the whole team of the Domaine, Véronique and Xavier perpetuate the work of Luc and Roger by combining observation, respect for nature, know-how and of course, by remaining attentive to their customers. Domaine Roger Perrin offers a wide range of wines, in three colours, with great finesse and beautiful expression, but always in the tradition of Châteauneuf du Pape.
