In Maori Hãhã means savoury and luscious, tasty and delicious. A family owned wine company, they pride themselves on making high quality, great value wines that bring people together. In keeping with the tradition of get-togethers, Hãhã Wine started when three families who were already involved in exporting apples, meat and seafood, had a chat about adding wine into the mix. That conversation lead to a unanimous agreement to produce a mouth-watering New Zealand wine to take to the world. They invited a fourth family to join them and Hãhã Wine was launched in 2011.
All their vineyards, wineries and bottling facilities are certified as 100% sustainable by Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand and they are committed to an environmentally responsible approach.
The wines are produced from vineyard sites in Marlborough and Hawke’s Bay, in a beautiful fruit-forward style that brings out their complexity, texture and elegant layering.
