Edouard Labeye is a pioneering winemaker who comes from Rhone valley in France and is also a co-owner of Radford Dale in Stellenbosch where he travels several times each year to assist with the viticulture and winemaking there. He makes his own Syrah-driven wines in the Southern Rh�ne region and incorporates his unique, unpretentious vision and passion for natural, terroir-driven wines. This wine is 50% Grenache and 50% Syrah which come from selected sites in the Causses du Minervois, at the foot of Montagne Noire, of Languedoc-Roussillon wine region. The soils there are clay, limestone with a top soil of sandstone and shale. The grapes are harvested and brought into the winery where fermentation takes placed in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks for 3 weeks.
