Artisan Ridley Pinot X Three
Vineyard & Winemaking:
A blend of Pinot Meunier 48%, Pinot Noir 48% and 4% Pinot Gris from
vineyards in the Piccadilly Valley & Oakbank.
All parcels are fermented in small batches using various proportions of whole
bunches and a spontaneous wild ferment with a gentle maceration to produce a
lighter delicate style of wine.
The Pinot Meunier gives bright red fruits with a generous up front fruit profile,
while the Pinot Noir provides tension and length with exotic spices and red
fruits. The Pinot Gris, fermented on skins for 10-14 days that results in a pale
red / orange colour helps to give a vibrant lift and roundness to the blend.
Each parcel is matured in natural French barriques and Puncheons for 5-6
months before bottling with no fining or filtration. This is an early release vibrant
young red to be enjoyed young and fresh over the warmer months, serving
