Meursault Narvaux
Domaine Chavy Chouet
2017
Burgundy
France
For centuries, Burgundian winegrowers have opted for those varietals that most accurately transcribe the identity, strength, and originality of each terroir. Our 15 hectares, spread across 14 appellations, are clearly expressed through the wines they produce.
The whites offer purity, elegance, minerality, freshness, and precision, while the reds offer structure, finesse, fruit, and strength.
Les Narvaux in Meursault sits at the top of the slope on a steep, shallow, limestone plot.
Surface area: 0.5Ha
Age of the vines: 60
Varietal: Chardonnay
Planting density: 10000
Soil type: Clay-limestone
Ageing: 12 months with 20% new barrels
Tasting notes: Les Narvaux is an airy
wine that is lively and balanced with
aromas of white-fleshed fruit. It offers
hints of toasted almond on the nose and
is very long in the mouth. Mineral and
energetic, it will only open up fully after
a few years in the cellar.
