Zinfandel

The grapes for this wine come from Amador County, located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Home to some of California’s oldest vineyards, the fruit for our Zinfandel comes from vines planted over 50 years ago! These gnarled vines grow without trellises or irrigation systems, and have been dry-farmed since day one. The resulting wine is wild, pure and bright — not your typical style of Zinfandel. With air, the wine becomes savoury and elegant, never sweet nor heavy, with plenty of charm and character.
