Bordered to the west by the Indian Ocean, the Margaret River wine region is one of Australia's largest. Stretching nearly 90 km from Cape Naturaliste in the north to Cape Leeuwin in the south, Margaret River is blessed with a maritime Mediterranean-style climate, with relatively cool and stable growing temperatures. With an international reputation for outstanding Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay wines, as well as Bordeaux-style red and white blends, Margaret River is one of Australia's premier growing regions.
