Bourgueil Les Perrières

This wine displays a deep ruby color and offers enticing aromas of black fruit, herbs, and delicate floral undertones. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with silky tannins, showcasing flavors of dark cherries, blackcurrant, and a subtle earthy character. The wine's well-balanced acidity complements the fruit, leading to a long and savory finish. The vineyard's age, with vines over 70 years old, combined with the terroir of clay-sandy slopes, elevates Les Perrières to the flagship of the estate's wines. The grapes are destemmed and undergo three weeks of alcoholic fermentation with native yeasts and no added sulfur dioxide. Malolactic fermentation follows. The wine is then aged in barrels for a period ranging from 20 to 36 months, depending on the vintage. ABV 13%
