Moulin à Vent

This wine showcases a prettier and more mineral-inflected side of the appellation. It begins with floral aromas and then transitions into a medley of redcurrant, white pepper, strawberry, and blood orange notes. On the palate, it offers juicy sour cherry and wild raspberry flavors, supported by a firm earthy core and complemented by ripe tannins and bright acidity. The vines for this wine are located in the commune of La Chénas, with the soil consisting of granitic (pink granite) composition. The vineyards enjoy a southern and eastern exposure. The grapes are harvested manually and cooled before being gently vatted in concrete without any intervention. The maceration period varies depending on the cuvée, and the wine ages in concrete vats, enamelled steel, and old barrels. ABV 13%
