Anjou Pompois

This wine exhibits a deep ruby red color and offers an elegant aroma of peony flowers, complemented by hints of crushed vine leaves. On the palate, it is supple and carries a delicate freshness. The flavor profile showcases black fruits with subtle vegetal undertones. The wine finishes with finesse, leaving a delicate impression. Rouge Pompois consists of 100% Cabernet Franc, from 50-year-old vines, planted on silty and clayey soil. Organic and biodynamic farming. The grapes are harvested manually and fermentation is spontaneously started by the action of indigenous yeasts, first in concrete tanks and then in wooden barrels, where it also carries out malolactic fermentation. Aged 12 months in oak. ABV 12%
