Marlborough Pinot Noir

100% Pinot Noir. The colour is a rich deep ruby, this wine is very appealing at first sight. Floral aromas and wild berries with a wonderful clove and cinnamon spice nose. Rich bold black fruit and savoury spice on the palate with structured rounded tannins and a long dry finish. This wine is produced from idyllic vineyards in the Awatere Valley, and Upper Wairau Valley, Marlborough, New Zealand. Great care is taken with these precious grapes while hand harvesting. The soils are ancient river beds with free draining stony soils and deep clay loams. 45% French Oak barrel aged, total maturation was for 8 months. ABV 13.5%
