The wine displays a brilliant garnet color of good intensity. The nose is powerful and refined, offering a complex bouquet with noble vegetal notes, crushed leaves reminiscent of dark tobacco, delicate flowers, macerated fruits, and subtle spices. With aeration, it develops nuances reminiscent of cherry brandy and apricot kernels. On the palate, the wine is young, lively, and fresh, with a "mineral" texture that gives it a certain verticality. A slight astringency, typical at this stage, is balanced by a "limestone" liveliness, complementing the juicy flavors of cherry and blood orange. The oak aging is still present and will require some patience to integrate fully into the wine. Wisdom and energy coexist, leading to a round and tangy finish, showcasing the typical qualities of the appellation and attesting to the nobility of this exceptional Pinot Noir cuvée. The wine is made from the Pinot Noir grape variety and comes from a terroir characterized by clay-limestone soil. The vineyard is 42 years old and covers an area of 0.60 hectares, producing around 1,600 bottles. The grapes were harvested manually, ensuring their perfect health. The maceration process lasted for 22 days with two punch-downs performed daily. Following this, the wine was aged for a total of 21 months in oak barrels, with 50% of them being new barrels. ABV 14%
