Saint-Joseph

This wine exhibits a powerful and aromatic bouquet, featuring notes of smoke, cherry, blackberry, olive, peony, and cracked pepper. On the palate, it is rich and expansive, with intense flavors of black and blue fruits, accompanied by spicecake undertones. With time, the wine develops a smoky mineral character and continues to unfold with layers of spice and floral nuances. The finish is long and penetrating, with fine tannins that gradually build. Maxime Graillot substantive work has been done on poor lands and over a vineyards in poor condition to bring it back to life. Everything had to be done up: plowing pruning planting and working of an environmentally friendly manner without use of any chemical. The grapes are mostly destemmed, and the wine is aged in tronconic oak foudres, contributing to its overall complexity and structure. ABV 14%
